Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein was born in Germany, 1879 but moved all around the eastern block. He obtained his doctoral degree in 1905 and began making most of his remarkable work. Einstein opened up many door ways in the physics would and became known for his intelligence. He recieved the 1921 Nobel Prize for his services to theoretical physics and for his discovery of the law of photoelectric effect. He aided in the production of nuclear fission for WWII but was always a man dedicated to science and more specifically, physics.
Al Capone
Al Capone is Americas most well known gangster due to the prohibition in the 1920's and all the illegal activity that took place. He was Born in Brooklyn, New York 1899 and his parents were Italian immigrants. As a young kid, he belonged to two gangs and though he was smart, he dropped out of school in 6th grade. He began taking part in small crimes and was a bouncer at a bar where he got his notorious scars that gave him the nickname "scar face". Though he committed many murders, he never was charged more than a day in jail because nobody could connect him to the scene. Under the wing of Torrio, Al Capone became a bigger mobster and when Torrio was killed, Capone took over and became the biggest of them all. He controlled speakeasies, bookie joints, gambling houses, brothels, horse and race tracks, nightclubs, distilleries, and breweries at a reported income of 100,000 a year. Though Capone was know for his violent behavior and many killings, he was also very loyal and gave to the poor whenever he could. He was even known at one point as the modern day "Robin Hood".
Rudolph Valentino
Rudolph Valentino was a famous actor in the 1920's. He was born in Italy in 1895 and his full name is Rodolfo Alfonso Raffaello Pierre Filibert Guglielmi di Valentina d'Antonguolla. Due to his poor grades, he was forced to drop out of school as a youth and got a degree in agriculture later on. He moved to America after being broke and got involved in acting when Mathis a woman producer, hired him to play as the Latin Lover in "The Four Horseman of The Apocalypse". He starred in many other films and had the lady's drooling over him. But sadly, early in his career, at age 31 he died from appendicitis and gastric ulcers. Thousands came to his funeral and he was even more famous in death.
